Greenville Lindy Hoppers {Greenville, SC event photographer}

Went to the a dance the other night with the Greenville Lindy Hoppers. Always fun, of course. I decided to bring my camera this time and try my hand at dance photography. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, of course, because well, people move fast while dancing. And they move fast in dark rooms. I used my 85mm lens for most of the shots because, well, it’s much better than my basic 18-55mm kit lens.

I’m really pleased with the photos I got, and I hope all you lindy hoppers like them too! :)

Raegan {Greenville, SC baby photography}

Raegan’s mommy, Amanda, heard about me from Ashton’s mommy and called me up asking about a photo session. We used the same general location, Furman University, but very different spots on campus. Furman is *such* a beautiful campus with many great spots for photos! This session with Amanda and Raegan (6-months) was my first ever session with people I hadn’t met before. It was a lot of fun and Raegan was such a good baby. So smiley and cute!

Mackenzie & Katelyn {Simpsonville, SC tween photographer}

Meet cousins Mackenzie (10) and Katelyn (12). I took a few journalism classes with Mackenzie’s mother, Stephanie, who is going to be a famous reporter one day. We were limited during this session at first, because there was a torrential downpour and we were stuck inside. But the rain eventually died down and we were able to head outside. It was quite wet and getting darker, but we had a fun session and got some really cute shots!

Mackenzie & Katelyn’s adorable little cousin decided she wanted in a few shots too!

I lured Stephanie outside to snap a few shots of her too! :)

Then the girls had to put on Steph’s heels for a few fun modeling shots.

Don’t let these photos fool you! Before I got them to put their hands on their hips, look straight ahead and ignore me, there were giggly and silly just like 10 and 12 year old girls should be.

Raewyn {Greenville, SC vintage portrait photographer}

I had a super fun time last week shooting some vintage portraits of a friend and fellow lindy hopper, Raewyn. We were pretty unlucky in that it started raining right when we started to head out. We ended up heading into Downtown Greenville instead of the Arts District like we had previously planned. But there are covered areas in Downtown that are, well, vintage-y.

We eventually made our way to the arts district where I found this gorgeous red wall. It’s mine, I tell you! All mine! It’s just a tiny little section, but I love the color. The last photo, however, I think is my favorite.

Thanks, Raewyn, for a great session! And for adding some fun to my portfolio. :)
